To many Pagans, their beliefs are more than a religion; they are a way of life, seeking to live in sympathy with nature in today's modern world. Many pagans see themselves as very much a part of nature, not above it. Pagans also advocate self-responsibility; we are responsible for our actions. Due to persecution and misrepresentation it is necessary to define what Pagans are not as well as what they are. Pagans are not sexual deviants, do not worship the devil (are not Satanists), are not evil …

Hello from Richard... Do you agree to do things, then regret it later? Can you ask for things, without feeling guilty? Can you speak up in a group? When you are embarrassed, or angry, can you still function effectively? Do you promote yourself with impact, or with an apology? Can you be playful and proud at the same time? Courses I started this group in April 2012 in order to publicise the various courses that I run in Leeds. Some of these courses are free, some are at a very nominal price ( …

Hi! This is a group for actors. For the experienced and for beginners of all ages. I intend to organise classes in city centre Manchester, plus regular theatre visits. I would also like to do some filming (when the summer comes). I’ve previously created a collection of poems shot in London, followed by a collection of poems shot in Paris and would like to do the same in Manchester. This would form a practical project for several students, followed by a screening later in the year. See my VIMEO …

This is a group for anyone interested in reading aloud together and seeing where that leads us. It's different to a Book Club, in that the reading takes place during the meet-up; you don't have to read aloud yourself, I'll be aiming to provide a safe and warm environment where we can all enjoy hearing the words come to life and then saying something about what it makes us think of. We'll start with some excerpts from a mixture of books and a couple of poems, then maybe think of choosing a book t …
Leeds needs a book group! Having just moved to the area I can see there is a dirth of groups for book and literature lovers. This must change! I don't read anywhere near enough but a group like this one will get me in the habit once more. I can't find a group like it, so I'm creating one myself. Once-a-month meets, discussions on the wonderful world of literature, and the setting of a book to read after each meet. Come on, come all, and we could make this an awesome group.
If you've ever read, heard of, or have an interest in "The Wisdom of Crowds" then this group is for you. Generally , political debate is a cacophany of noise from those with a vested interest in promoting a single party or cause. iZavit aims to give a voice to those who value equality and fairness and are prepared to seek agreement on the best way forward for all, rather than pursue a vested interest at the expense of others.

I plan for meet-ups to take place in York's nicest pubs & restaurants and of course the forum for venue suggestions or meet-up ideas is entirely open. A little more about me... I'm James, 28 and live …

This group is devoted to the reading of one book: Thus Spoke Zarathustra As a group, i would like us to read the first half of the book, discuss it, then go on to read the second half and discuss that. I will be reading the Cambridge edition, translated by Adrian Del Caro, as i like the style; but the Kaufmann and Hollingdale translations are also good (it might be helpful if the group reads the same translation, but it's not essential). I would also definitely recommend finding a readers guide.
