We are a reading group of African-American women who read books and support African-American authors, book sellers and publishers. Our reading genre is diverse with both fiction and non-fiction which includes mysteries, science fiction as well biographies etc. We meet once a month in our homes for stimulating discussion, sisterhood bonding and delicious food. The purpose of this group is to read and discuss all kinds of mystery novels from cozies to thrillers, as well as to meet new people with a similar interest in literature. We welcome all adults who love to read and maybe even fancy themselves a bit of an "armchair sleuth"! I started this group because there is nothing that I personally love better than a good mystery novel. How about you?

I love to read. I also love to dine out on Sunday mornings - breakfast, not brunch. On the 4th Sunday of every month, members of the group will meet for breakfast at 9 a.m. to discuss the book chosen. The new book for the next month will be announced at the current meeting.  There will be a $1.00 charge per member for each meeting which will be collected at the meeting.

"Love, Your Sistah" is a book club for African American women who want to socially connect and give back to the communities in which we live.
