The Great Books Foundation promotes reading, thinking, and the sharing of ideas for people of all ages. Since 1947, the Foundation has helped millions of people make the reading and discussion of literature a lifelong source of enjoyment, personal growth, and social engagement.

… The model is to attend the meeting, meet like-minded people, get the book we are reading, discuss the previous book's topics, lessons, or tools. We all have lives so we read one book per two months. We meet once per month to discuss the topic. Any and all questions. Feel free to ask.

I started this group because I love to read fiction, and to talk about it with others. This is a group for people who feel the same way about books to get together over coffee and eggs (or whatever), talk about books, and make new friends!

I would love to gather with other adult women book lovers and expand our comfort zone in our reading selection.  I think in order to find common ground - ideal age would be between 30-60 years. This group will meet once a month and have a different genre of literature to read from and rate when we meet. Book selection is open for suggestion.

I decided to start this group because I enjoy reading and I'd like to meet other fellow readers in the area. We will meet monthly to discuss a book chosen by a member. We will take turns choosing the month's book based on the first members to sign up. The monthly meeting place will also be determined by the member whose turn it is to choose the book. This is an informal gathering every week that is designed to promote feedback on work, and to highlight the strengths of one's work as well as offer ideas to improve weaknesses.
