Pasadena Book Chicks is a book club for women (mainly in their 20s and 30s) residing in the San Gabriel Valley area. We will meet once a month to chat and discuss the book that we've chosen to read that month. The club's emphasis will be on fiction (both classic and contemporary), but we may read memoir and poetry as well. Members will be able to suggest books for the group to read. … The model is to attend the meeting, meet like-minded people, get the book we are reading, discuss the previous book's topics, lessons, or tools. We all have lives so we read one book per two months. We meet once per month to discuss the topic. Any and all questions. Feel free to ask.

I would love to gather with other adult women book lovers and expand our comfort zone in our reading selection.  I think in order to find common ground - ideal age would be between 30-60 years. This group will meet once a month and have a different genre of literature to read from and rate when we meet. Book selection is open for suggestion.

When we moved to the IE we realized that there are not any book clubs out here that cater to everyone, so we decided to start our own. The book club meets once a month on week day and Saturday evenings. Please only join if you are able to meet once a month and have the time to read one book.
