The Saturday Afternoon Poetry Workshop at Beyond Baroque happens every Saturday at 1:30 pm and ends at 4:30. The facilitator is Bob Foster. Poems are read and critiqued in a supportive and friendly atmosphere. All levels of expertise/experience are welcome! Bring at least 10 copies of your poem (which should be no longer than two pages). The workshop is free and meets in Beyond Baroque's bookstore at 681 Venice Boulevard in Venice, California.

The Urantia Book reading and discussion group is open to new as well as experienced readers. We are currently studying the Urantia papers about history of our planet, intermingling our reading with discussion, questions, and commentary.

This is a laid-back, relaxed and fun book club. We meet hold meetings twice a month, one fiction and one nonfiction. The responsibility of choosing the titles rests with the group members.
