Our book club consists of people who love to read and are willing to expand their minds through books that make us think, make us talk, make us laugh and make us want to read some more. Future goals include book-turned-movi …

I'm establishing a book meetup group that is a little different. In this group, instead of everyone reading the same book, we will pick out our own book and share what we've read at our meetups. We will get first hand accounts from each other about books we might not normally read. We may indeed find out we would like to read the others' books, or at the least learn about some things outside of our normal comfort zone.
This book club is for people who rushed through those required novels while in school and want to read them again with genuine interest this time. Rich adult-life experiences are sure to alter the way we relate and interpret these timeless tales. As a new group I am open to preferred dates to meet, I have a community room in my condo building that can be reserved for our meetings. I can provide snacks and we can each bring our beverage of choice.

This group is made up of a fun bunch of ladies from all different backgrounds that love to read! We meet once a month to discuss a book over wine, water, and treats. Anyone can recommend a title and one of the best things about this club is discovering books you might not have stumbled upon on your own. So if this sounds like fun to you, come join us!
A group for anyone who enjoys reading, swapping books, and are a Bookcrossing member. Not a Bookcrossing member? Feel free to join us at a meetup and see what it's all about. You are not required to join or be a member of Bookcrossing or to swap books to join us. All avid readers are welcome.
This group is designed for people, 30ish-50ish, who want to find two things: their next great read and just maybe, their next great love. Or just a date! Too many book club picks are geared towards the fairer sex only, so we will pick books that are of interest to both the sexes - every time! Then we will meet every other month, on the first Wednesday, for a drink or dinner, and to discuss our latest book. So join me! Any single who likes to read is welcome! It could be fun...
This is a Book Club in Clearwater that is open to anyone, so any bookworms, book lovers and people who love to read are welcome to join. This is not limited to any age, race, sex or religion, etc. I put a $2 fee for each meeting only because it costs me $15 a month to have the group on Meetup and I just want to have that covered. If 15 people show up, it will only be $1 a person.

Feminist Reading and Discussion Group (main headline) Occasionally, someone will say that feminism has outlived its usefulness and purpose. Claims have been made that women now have full equality. However, the pay gap persists, maternity leave is rare, and women only comprise a small percentage of the top level positions at companies and in the government. Additionally, the word "feminism" itself is sometimes shunned by women who are for all intents and purposes feminists (i.e. folks who believe …

Many teens and young adults are challenged (aka required) to read "the classics" in high school or college literature courses. Yet others either didn't have those courses, never took those electives or just flat out "didn't want" to read these books at that point in their lives. As we grow older and (hopefully) wiser, we now begin to ask did we miss something? Or if you did read the classics, is there something more now that I'm at a different life stage? Are you an avid reader who likes to re …

"Seekers of The Truth" This is where individuals and groups can come to learn, teach, and study Atlantis and its relationship to New Age Spirituality and Metaphysics. It seems that the Atlantans were enlightened people with superior wisdom and knowledge regarding the command and use of the forces of nature. They called them the Elemental forces that allowed them to do all of their rough, heavy work with ease. Apparently, these forces allowed them to cut stone out of the mountains without the use …
